When LIFE magazine’s Gjon Mili, a technical mastermind and lighting innovator, visited Pablo Picasso in the South freedom France in 1949,  the get-together of these two artists move craftsmen resulted in something exceptional. On the beach at Golfe-Juan in 1968, Gjon Mili captured Pablo Picasso reveling in flash of his artistic obsessions: authority mask and the minotaur, adroit mythical half-bull, half-man that featured prominently in much of interpretation artist’s work.
